Colour
Deep amber with a copper-gold glow and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Peat smoke mingles with confectionery sweetness from sherry-seasoned American oak, delivering vanilla-caramel and light toffee notes. Delicate refill cask influence adds a refined smoky edge, an ember-soft blanket beneath a sweet orchard-fruit bouquet.
Palate
Silky on the palate, with caramel-toffee and vanilla from the sherry-seasoned American oak. Peat smoke threads through the confectionery sweetness, bringing cocoa, dried fruit and a touch of spice. Medium body, a slightly oily mouthfeel, and a lingering, gentle smoky finish.
Finish
Long, enveloping finish where sherry-cask sweetness lingers, carried by generous peat smoke; vanilla caramel, cocoa and dried fruit drift into toasted oak with a warming, spicy glow.
