Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with mahogany undertones and copper-ruby edges, a glossy cocoa-gold depth.

Nose

Sherry-forward on the initial nose, rich and inviting, with coffee and walnut cake, dark muscovado sugar, and a subtle note of linseed oil weaving through the aroma.

Palate

Peppery, mouth-coating start gives way to rich brown sugar with raisins and dates. Walnut mid-palate, then cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg linger in a warm, velvety finish.

Finish

Deep and rich, the finish lingers with cocoa powder and chocolate truffles, a subtle whisper of cigar smoke slowly receding into warm spice.
