Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a sunlit copper glow and a burnished mahogany edge.
Nose
An antique Glenlivet bouquet, where dried fig and sultana mingle with polished oak and a whisper of walnut. Sherry-seasoned sweetness folds into orange zest, honeyed vanilla, and dried apricot, with time-worn leather and cocoa subtle in the background. A refined, velvety perfume that hints at quiet, age-softened spice.
Palate
A silky, full-bodied palate greets with polished orchard fruit and citrus rind, layered with toffee, almond and a trace of dark chocolate. Sherry warmth threads through, unveiling dried fruit, fig and cinnamon, weaving into a velvety, oak-kissed finish with lingering spice and nutmeg.
Finish
Silky, exceptionally long finish that embraces warm sherry fruit and demerara sweetness, then slowly releases toasted oak and gentle spice. Dried apricot, cocoa nibs and vanilla linger on the palate, chased by a refined leather note, fading to a polished amber glow that lingers and invites another sip.
