Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep antique amber with warm honey-gold glints and a coppery edge.
Nose
Rich, aged oak and walnut form a velvet spine for a bouquet of dried fruits—fig, prune, and raisin—lifted with orange zest and almond marzipan. Sherry-cask warmth wafts through Christmas cake, cocoa nib, and brown sugar, finished with vanilla, spice, and a whisper of toffee.
Palate
Silky and poised, the palate reveals lush dried fruits—raisin, fig and orange zest—woven with toffee and dark chocolate. Rich sherry echoes through velvety oak, adding almond, spice and a whisper of leather. The finish is long and refined, with warm cocoa and tobacco lingering in an elegant, aged dignity.
Finish
An opulent, lingering finish that unfurls like aged velvet: dried fig, dark cherry and almond meld with cacao and a kiss of spice, carried on warm, refined oak. The sherry depth lingers, poised and dignified.
