Glengoyne's nose opens with bright orchard fruits—ripe apples and pears mingled with creamy vanilla and softly toffeeed sweetness. A delicate hint of almond and a touch of citrus zest from sherry cask maturation adds nutty warmth, while polished oak and subtle spice lend a refined Highland glow.

Palate

Silky and honeyed, the palate opens with orchard fruits, almond and a touch of toffee. Subtle sherry notes weave in, balanced by creamy oak and gentle spice, leading to a smooth, lasting finish with hints of nuttiness.

Finish

Silky and persistent, the finish unfolds into warm, dusky sweetness. Rich dried fruits mingle with toasted almond and cocoa, while hints of polished oak and gentle spice linger long after the sip, a refined, sherried fade that coats the tongue with honeyed fruit and soft warmth.

(glen-GOY’n) Glengoyne was founded in 1833 and is one of the few distilleries to pair a Highland spirit with warehouses that sit across the Highland Line in the Lowlands. Originally known as Burnfoot Distillery, it developed from earlier illicit distilling on the site before becoming Glengoyne, and it has been owned by Ian Macleod Distillers since 2003.
