Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with sunlit honey-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
An opulent sherry aroma envelops ripe fruit: dark plum, fig and raisin mingle with orange zest, honeyed almond and vanilla. Polished oak and spices—cinnamon and nutmeg—linger, with a whisper of tobacco and leather that adds depth to a resinous, enduring bouquet.
Palate
Opulent and velvety, this Glenfarclas sings with dried fruits—raisins, fig and date—woven with orange zest, dark chocolate and treacle. Sherry sweetness lingers beside walnut and toffee as oak and baking spices (cinnamon, clove) add depth. The finish is long, warm, and refined, leaving a graceful thread of fruit and spice.
Finish
An elongated, luxurious finish of sherry-infused sweetness—raisins, fig, and dark orange peel, nursed by polished oak. Cocoa and toffee notes emerge, accented by ginger and cinnamon, resolving to a velvet, warming fade that lingers softly on the palate.
