Colour

Dark amber with a rich copper-gold sheen and mahogany edges.

Nose

Opulent sherry-soaked nose of raisin, fig and orange zest, edged with toffee and treacle. Dark chocolate and vanilla mingle with oak as warming spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—unfold. A whisper of tobacco and leather adds depth, while the 60% ABV lends a bracing, syrupy glow to the aroma.

Palate

Powerful, full-bodied palate with sherry-soaked darkness: dried fig, raisin and orange peel unfold into cocoa, toffee and espresso notes. Bold oak delivers cinnamon, clove and nutmeg spice, wrapped in a warm, peppery lift that lingers into a long, drying finish.

Finish

Long, warming finish of sherry-soaked fruit—figs, raisins and orange peel—woven with oak, cinnamon and clove. A touch of dark chocolate and treacle lingers, fading to a refined, resinous dryness carried by the strength of the cask.
