Glendronach Single Highland Malt Whisky 25 Year Old · 1968 Vintage
Out of stock
This very rare 1968 vintage was originally bottled in 1993 for the American market. Ten years later Glendronach discovered several cases in their warehouse so replaced the tube with a new one and offered them for sale with a printed card which explains this situation.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany edges and a burnished copper glow, a regal old-gold hue that hints at sherry-matured richness.
Nose
Opulent sherry-drenched nose with dark raisins, figs and dates folded into treacle and cocoa. Orange zest brightens the richness, while polished oak, leather and a whisper of tobacco mingle with velvety spice, hinting at a luxurious, time-worn Highland elegance.
Palate
Opulent and velvety, this palate unfolds with dried figs, prunes and dates, woven into dark chocolate, toffee and orange zest. Sherry depth coats the mid-palate, entwined with soft spice and polished oak, with hints of leather and cocoa. Long, refined finish with warm sweetness and lingering fruit.
Finish
Long, velvety finish of dark dried fruits, orange peel and cocoa, underpinned by luscious sherry sweetness. Spiced oak lingers with ginger and cinnamon, gradually fading to a warm, refined glow.
