Exceptional Cask Selection Mark XXI - Cask Strength 2010 Vintage

2010 represents the latest release from Foursquare Distillery, Barbados. The twenty-first release (Mark XXI) in the Exceptional Cask Selection, continuing the award-winning Vintage series which launched with the ground-breaking, and critically acclaimed 2004.

2010 is a Single Blended Rum, in that it is a blend of heavy and light marques rums distilled in the copper double retort pot-still, and the continuous twin column stills of Foursquare Distillery. Matured in Barbados for 12 years in ex-bourbon cask American white oak. Presented at 60% alcohol by volume, without chill-filtration, at its natural colour, and free from sweeteners and other flavourings.

Foursquare Spiced Rum

A blend of the classic pot and column distilled rums of Foursquare Distillery, that have been aged in barrel. A family secret recipe of Caribbean spices are then steeped in this rum for a true Spiced Rum.

Foursquare Rum Distillery was established in 1996 in St Philip, Barbados, by the Seale family, whose wider business, R.L. Seale & Co., dates back to 1926. The distillery was built on the site of a former sugar factory, which gives it a stronger historical connection than its modern founding date might suggest, and it remains a fourth-generation Barbadian family business under Richard Seale.
