Foursquare has built its reputation on a traditional Barbadian style made with both pot and column stills, and on a notably strict approach to production, with no added sugar, flavourings or colouring. Its Exceptional Cask Selection series has become especially influential, helping establish the distillery among the most respected names in modern rum, while milestones such as Foursquare 2005 becoming the first rum to win the International Spirits Challenge Supreme Champion title in 2018 and the distillery taking the IWSC Rum Producer Trophy in 2024 underline how far that reputation has grown.
