Once a year Tequila Fortaleza will release a unique blend as an extra special treat. These will be in a limited release format, different every year, highly collectible and of course delicious.

A rare combination of Reposados previously aged in American, French and Hungarian Oak, blended with Classic Fortaleza Reposado and proofed to 44% ABV.

Two 150L American oak barrels, previously filled with Charanda, were filled with 46%ABV Classic Fortaleza Reposado and aged for 6 months. These barrels were emptied, refilled and aged for 3 months. Next, two 500L French Oak barrels, previously filled w/ 2022 WB and originally holding Oloroso sherry, were likewise filled with Classic Reposado and aged 6 months. Then emptied, refilled and aged 5 months. Then, two 220L Hungarian Oak barrels, previously filled w/ 2022 WB and originally holding Tokaji, were filled with Classic Reposado and aged 6 months. Then emptied, refilled and aged 5 months. Finally, these 12 barrels were blended with Fortaleza Classic Reposado and proofed to 44% ABV.
