Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery sheen and a mahogany edge, a sherry-warmed glow.
Nose
Dark, time-worn fragrance of dried cherries and plums, with raisins and figs, layered over polished toffee, orange zest and almond. Oak hints vanilla, clove and nutmeg, while a thread of cocoa and leather completes a dignified sherry-cask bouquet.
Palate
Silky, sherry-kissed with a raisiny sweetness that lingers. Rich dried fruit, fig and date mingle with dark chocolate, orange zest and toasted nut. Subtle oak spice and a whisper of leather provide depth, while the finish remains warm and refined, echoing the whisky’s old Highland maturation.
Finish
Long, sherry-kissed finish with dark plum and fig sweetness, hints of orange zest, cocoa and toasted almond. Warm spice from the oak lingers, softly fading to a delicate maritime edge that remains polished and velvety on the palate.
