Colour
Radiant amber-gold with honeyed depth and subtle coppery glints.
Nose
Opulent botrytized notes from Sauternes spill from the glass: honeyed apricot and peach, marmalade, and dried fig, with hints of raisin. Zesty citrus, vanilla cream, and almond paste weave through toasted oak and a gentle spice. Rich, warm and dessert-like, the aroma invites slow savoring of the cask-strength sweetness.
Palate
Opulent dessert-wine sweetness coats the palate with honeyed apricot, peach and candied orange, braided with vanilla and toasted oak. Sauternes influence yields syrupy depth, a bright citrus lift, and a warming, peppery spice that lingers as the cask-strength intensity fades.
Finish
Opulent, long finish drenched in Sauternes sweetness—ripe apricot and peach glazed with honey, vanilla cream and almond, slowly giving way to toasted oak and spice. The fruit lingers, warming the palate with a refined, persistent finale.
