Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden-amber with coppery radiance and a whisper of mahogany, a warm, glass-staining hue suggesting depth.
Nose
Opulent sherry notes greet the nose: ripe figs, prunes and dried cherries with raisins, layered over cocoa, dark chocolate, toffee and almond paste. Velvet oak anchors a warm spice blend of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove, with orange zest and a hint of leather completing a refined, dessert-like bouquet.
Palate
Silky, medium-full on the palate, sherry-influenced with dark fruit—raisin, fig, orange zest—woven with toffee, cocoa and toasted almond. Rich vanilla and spice emerge over velvety oak, finishing long and warm with a refined, raisin-laced sweetness.
Finish
Long, velvety sherried finish with dark fig and raisin fruit, hints of toasted almond and cocoa, and a gentle spice that frames the oak. The warmth lingers gracefully, finishing with a polished, nutty sweetness.
