Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Caramel and vanilla bloom first, ribbons of honey-sweetness curling around toasted oak. Bright orange zest and lightly roasted almond lift the nose, while toffee deepens the profile. Spices answer with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of clove, adding warmth and sophistication. A refined, buoyant aroma that hints at barrel-char and a quiet leather note.
Palate
Opulent and lush, this single-barrel pours with vanilla and caramel-soaked oak, unfolding into toffee, dark chocolate, and citrus zest. Rich fruit notes of dried apricot and fig emerge against warm spice—cinnamon, clove, a hint of rye pepper. Full-bodied and creamy, it coats the palate and carries a long, balanced finish of oak, spice, and a final glow of vanilla.
Finish
Long, warming finish of vanilla and caramel, carried by toasted oak. Cinnamon and a whisper of clove unfold with citrus zest, then fade into a silky, resinous oak echo that lingers with subtle sweetness and a touch of dryness.
