Facundo Eximo is a rich and luxurious rum created by blending carefully selected aged rums from the BACARDÍ Family Library and then ageing them in oak barrels for a minimum of 10 years.

A luxury sipping dark rum, Eximo is best enjoyed neat, with a splash of water or over ice – it also adds depth to cocktails such as the Eximo Old Fashioned or the Eximo Side Car.

Facundo Eximo is the only rum in the Facundo Collection that is blended before ageing, a technique that requires expert skill from the Master Blenders.

Bacardí was founded on 4 February 1862 by Don Facundo Bacardí Massó in Santiago de Cuba, where he bought a small distillery and developed a lighter, smoother style of rum. The bat emblem dates from the original distillery, where Doña Amalia, Facundo’s wife, noticed fruit bats in the rafters and suggested the symbol for the brand. Bacardí grew beyond Cuba in the early 20th century, opening operations in Barcelona and New York in 1910.
