Colour
Rich amber with coppery depths and a warm honey-gold halo.
Nose
Opulent sherry-drenched nose with dark plum, fig and date, framed by orange zest and toffee. Dried fruit leads into cognac-like warmth, vanilla and cocoa, while toasted oak and a whisper of espresso and spice lend a refined, resinous finish.
Palate
Opulent and velvety on the palate, this Allt-a-Bhainne from a sherry cask delivers dark fruit, fig and raisin with orange zest and creamy vanilla. Rich toffee and cocoa mingle with spice—clove and nutmeg—while silky oak lends structure. Full, warm and lingering, the finish coats the tongue with almond, roasted nuts and a nuanced chocolate echo.
Finish
Long, satin-smooth finish with warm oak and sherry sweetness that unfolds slowly. Dried fig and raisin mingle with orange zest, cocoa and spice, leaving a velvety glow and a final touch of toasted almond.
