The fifth edition in The Macallan Harmony Collection has taken inspiration from JING’s Phoenix Honey Orchid; an iconic, heady and complex tea with lush dessert wine aromas and exotic fruit notes.

In homage to the world of tea, waste tea leaves (deemed unsuitable for consumption) have been repurposed in the presentation box.

Nose

Summery peach and apricot mingle with the heady sweetness of floral honey, entwined with tropical fruits, toffee and a touch of sweet oak.

Palate

Fresh peaches in rich syrup, warm citrus and toffee, light floral notes leading to a delicate leafy astringency.

Fruity, sweet and complex.

The Macallan
Macallan was founded by Alexander Reid in 1824 on the Easter Elchies Estate above the River Spey, and it was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to become legally licensed. The name comes from the older place name “Maghellan”, combining the Gaelic magh for fertile ground with a reference to St Fillan, who was associated with the church that once stood on the estate. Easter Elchies House, which remains central to the brand’s identity, dates from around 1700 and still sits at the heart of the estate.
