A collaborative whiskey between Iowa distillery Cedar Ridge and Iowa Nu Metal rockers Slipknot. No 9 whiskey is a blend of 3-4 year old straight rye and straight bourbon, mashed, fermented, distilled and aged at the Cedar Ridge Distillery. With a mashbill of 51% corn, 35% rye and 14% 2 row malted barley, this is a well made collaboration, with a great balance of flavour and weight.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper gleam and honey-gold edges, a warm, sunlit glow that hints at toasted oak and rye spice as it catches the light.
Nose
A floral bouquet of honeysuckle and blossom opens the nose, delicate and airy. Sweet whispers of buttered popcorn and caramel weave through the aroma, hinting at warm, inviting richness.
Palate
Sweet and fruity at first, with stewed apples, butter and caramelised sugar; then warming spice and a hint of pepper follow, leaving a balanced, gently layered finish.
Finish
Smooth and mellow, with a lingering sweetness that fades into a delicate milk chocolate note.
