Part of the 2023 Single Barrel Selection range, this Réunion rum was distilled in 2021 and bottled in 2023 at 2 years old. Drawn from a single ex-bourbon cask, it was bottled at 59% ABV with an outturn of 276 bottles.
Despite its youth, this is not a lightweight style. Made from cane juice, it leans into a fresher, more distinctive profile, and the ex-bourbon cask adds just enough vanilla and structure without taking away from the rum’s natural character. That gives it a bright, grassy style with tropical fruit, olive notes and a slightly savoury edge, making it a more characterful bottling than the age alone might suggest.
