Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany glow.
Nose
Delicate, honeyed nose of orchard fruit—ripe pear and yellow apple—softened by vanilla and toffee. Sherry-influenced oak adds warm spice, almond, and a note of cocoa, while delicate florals and a whisper of citrus zest lift the aroma to a refined, inviting sweetness.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, this 12-year-old coats the palate with sherried richness. Raisins, dates and orange zest mingle with dark chocolate, toasted almond and a kiss of vanilla. Gentle spice—clove and cinnamon—embellishes the finish, leaving warm oak and a lingering, refined sweetness.
Finish
Long, refined finish with a kiss of sherry sweetness—figs and raisins—coating the palate. Nutty malt, dark chocolate, and toasted oak linger, intertwined with cinnamon and spice. Velvety warmth tapers to soft almond and amber honey.
