Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-gold highlights and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
Salt air and windswept sea open the aroma, with sea-brine and a touch of coastal funk framing a core of dried fig and raisin from sherry casks. Dark chocolate, vanilla and toasted almond ride atop toasted oak, while citrus peel and a hint of spice lift the profile. Maritime depth hints at six single malts and a year of island maturation.
Palate
Coastal and refined, the palate opens with dried fig and almond, softened by a delicate sherry sweetness and oak vanilla. Sea-salt whispers through citrus zest and orchard fruit, while subtle peppery spice provides lift. Medium-length finish with cocoa and warm spice.
Finish
Maritime and refined, the finish bears sea spray and brine, softened by sherry sweetness. Dried fruit, toasted almond and cocoa drift through the palate, backed by light oak, with a warm, persistent finish that fades to a coastal whisper.
