Ledaig Single Malt Scotch Whisky Miniature 10 Year Old
In stock
The classic Ledaig 10 year old from the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. Using peated barley from the Port Ellen maltings (around 37 ppm if you're interested) this is a bold and punchy whisky that belies it's light and delicate appearance. Sweet, smoky, spicy and coastal.
Medicinal and peaty on the nose, there's floral and grassy notes too. It's a rounded and warming scent that rather draws you in. The flavours are quite saline to begin, oily with sea salt, brine seaweed present along with burnt wood and oaky spice. There is a fruitier element that comes through later with citrus, sweet vanilla and a malty creaminess. The finish is spicy, coastal, smokey and briney.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Medicinal, peaty and invigorating on the nose, with delicate floral and grassy notes. Coastal salinity threads through sea salt and brine seaweed, while hints of burnt wood and oaky spice add warmth. A subtle citrus lift and vanilla sweetness emerge, softening into a creamy maltiness that rounds the aroma into a welcoming, warming veil.
Palate
Oily, saline and briny on the palate, with seaweed and coastal mineral notes. Burnt wood and oak spice frame the middle, delivering a warm, spicy bite. A fruitier wave emerges—citrus zest, vanilla sweetness and a creamy maltiness—that smooths the mouth before a lingering coastal, smoky finish.
Finish
Spicy, smoky and coastal, the finish bears a briny, sea-washed echo. Saline tang lingers with maritime warmth, a hint of burnt wood and vanilla fading into the salt air.
