Also a whisky that was one of the blends destined for America that went down on the SS Politician made famous in the Whisky Galore book and film.

Silky and medium-weight on the palate, this 12-year-old blend delivers sherry-influenced richness with a refined oak backbone. Raisiny fig and plum notes mingle with subtle toffee, orange zest and toasted almond. Spices—cinnamon and nutmeg—emerge, balanced by vanilla; the finish is warm, long, and lightly smoky, echoing the blend’s storied heritage.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with sherry-tinged sweetness. Dark fruit—fig and raisin—unfolds into cocoa and toasted oak, framed by a whisper of spice, with a final, comforting warmth that lingers gracefully.
