Introducing this series, the 1st Scenes from Lynchburg bottle featured an image of the famous Jack Daniel statue found near the cave spring on the Distillery grounds. This statue was erected by Lem Motlow in 1941 as a tribute to Jack and stood at this location for nearly 60 years.
Following the U.S. debut of this series in 2003, a new bottle in the series was released every year with the exception of 2010. In the U.S. these “Scenes” bottles are available in a 750ml size with 86 proof whiskey, and are not sold in a box or with a hang tag. This series can also be found in Europe (debuted in 1998) as 1 liter bottles filled with 86 proof whiskey and in Canada as 750ml bottles filled with 80 proof whiskey.

Colour
Warm golden amber with copper-tinged depths and honey-gold highlights.
Nose
Sweet vanilla and caramel rise with warm toffee and toasted oak, underpinned by a faint charcoal smoke. A bright note of citrus zest and a touch of almond drift through a creamy, polished whiskey that lingers with gentle spice.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, the palate opens with caramel and vanilla cream, slowly giving way to toasted oak and a trace of maple. Gentle baking spice and citrus zest lift the mid-palate, culminating in a warm, smooth finish that lingers with soft oak and enduring sweetness.
Finish
Silky and lingering, the finish unfolds with warm vanilla and caramel, caressed by toasted oak. Light spice threads through, leaving a honeyed, softly charred afterglow that invites a second sip.
