The 1st bottle in this series celebrated the founder and first Master Distiller, Jack Daniel, who was the Master Distiller from 1866 to 1911. Mr. Jack left home at an early age and went to live with a local minister who taught him the art of marking and mellowing fine whiskey.
Making its debut in September of 2012, this new series celebrates the 6 Master Distillers throughout the history of the Jack Daniel Distillery.
Available in 2 sizes (700ml & 1L), each bottle is filled with 86 proof whiskey. They are also each individually numbered and sold in a collectible box. For display purposes, when 2 boxes are put side-by-side they complete an image of the Master Distiller being commemorated.

Silky on the palate with a medium body, this 86-proof Tennessee whiskey reveals warm vanilla and caramel, braided with toasted oak and a whisper of maple. Subtle spice and a touch of charcoal mellowness add depth, while the finish glides into mellow sweetness with a gentle peppery lift.
Finish
Long, polished finish with vanilla and caramel sweetness riding over toasted oak. A gentle spice rises, then the signature charcoal mellowing drifts in, leaving a silky, warm tail that lingers with refined sweetness and a whisper of smoke.
