"Jack's secret is no secret; it's quality and being true to who you are." - Jimmy Bedford
Released 2017
The sixth bottling in the Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series. This expression was named after James Bedford, who served as master distiller for the distillery between 1988 and 2008.
Like their founder Jack Daniel, Jimmy Bedford was both a farmer and a whiskey-maker, so he knew a thing or two about the importance of strong roots. He made his whiskey Jack's way. True to its roots and true to Jack's words - "Every day we make it, we'll make it the best we can."
Making its debut in September of 2012, this new series celebrates the 6 Master Distillers throughout the history of the Jack Daniel Distillery.
Available in 2 sizes (700ml & 1L), each bottle is filled with 86 proof whiskey. They are also each individually numbered and sold in a collectible box. For display purposes, when 2 boxes are put side-by-side they complete an image of the Master Distiller being commemorated.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Opulent fragrance of caramel and vanilla, layered with toffee and maple. Toasted oak frames brown sugar sweetness, while subtle dried fruit and spice bloom, finished by a whisper of charcoal and leather—a refined, truly Tennessee bouquet.
Palate
Silky and supple on the palate, with creamy vanilla, caramel and toffee wrapped in toasted oak. Subtle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—lingers against a mellow, charcoal-soft sweetness, leading to a refined finish of warm oak and a touch of citrus zest.
Finish
Long, refined finish with creamy vanilla and caramel that coat the palate, evolving into toasted oak and a gentle spice. Hints of cocoa and orange zest drift in, fading to a warm, smooth linger that leaves a soft, lasting warmth.
