This release celebrates the early craftsmanship of the Jack Daniel's Distillery. The whiskey is from uniquely crafted heavy-toast barrels and 100 proof barrel entry proof.
The "Heritage Barrel" expression of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel was crafted with a low temperature, heavy toasted barrel which created a light but rich char full of deep flavor. A lower 100 proof entry proof allows our grain bill to assert itself creating a special Tennessee whiskey with notes of light baking spices, vanilla, and toasted oak with a long, lingering finish, aged to perfection at the top of one of the highest elevated barrel houses, 1-09, on Coy Hill. What emerges is a flavorful and rich Tennessee Whiskey.

Deep copper-amber with radiant honey-gold highlights, a warm, sunlit amber that shimmers in the glass.
Nose
Aromas of light baking spices and vanilla unfold over toasted oak, with a gentle whisper of char from the heavy-toast barrel and a grain-sweet lift that hints at the 100-proof depth.
Palate
On the palate, creamy vanilla and delicate baking spices rise against toasted oak, with a hint of caramel sweetness. The heavy-toast, lower-entry-proof profile lets the grain speak, delivering a smooth, medium-full body and a long, lingering finish infused with spice and oak.
Finish
Long, lingering finish of light baking spices, vanilla, and toasted oak, with a caramel-kissed warmth that slowly fades into velvet.
