(INCH-fad) Inchfad is a heavily peated Highland single malt Scotch whisky style produced at Loch Lomond Distillery in Alexandria, rather than a separate distillery. It takes its name from Inchfad, an island in the south-east of Loch Lomond where the ruins of an old distillery can still be found. Loch Lomond briefly released Inchfad as a single cask single malt in the mid-2000s, alongside other distillery styles such as Craiglodge and Croftengea.
