Hampden Estate Great House 2025 Release Rum
In stock
Hampden Great House 2025 — a blend renewed annually since 2019 — marks the seventh edition in this prestigious series. This release pays homage to the distillery’s historic Great House, which still stands in its original 18th-century form. Built in 1779 by the Stirling family, the building’s upper floor once served as a storage area for rum barrels awaiting transport to port throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, it serves as Hampden’s reception house, welcoming guests and visitors from around the world.
Crafted from a blend of several marks spanning different vintages, the 2025 edition captures the unmistakable character and depth that define Hampden’s iconic Jamaican rum style.

Dense and opulent. Aromas of fermented pineapple, vanilla, and candied ginger unfold, complemented by subtle varnish notes that lend complexity and boldness to this expressive bouquet.
Palate
Intense and generous. Ripe banana dominates, joined by pronounced empyreumatic notes, hints of liquorice, and a touch of dried chili. The mouthfeel is powerful, structured, and precise.
Finish
Elegant and multifaceted. Lingering tones of fine wood and soft spices—nutmeg and cinnamon—are lifted by a refreshing trace of camphor. A long, balanced finish that leaves a deep and lasting impression.
