Quite rightly seen as a benchmark for well aged Sherry Cask matured whisky. Most distilleries scaled back production in the 1970's and 80's, but the Grant family had the foresight to keep the stills running. As a result, they have access to some of the best stocks of old whisky in the business, and are able to offer them at jaw droppingly reasonable prices.

Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany edges, a warm, radiant hue that speaks of patient sherry maturation and aged refinement.
Nose
Complex yet refined, it unfolds with marmalade, honey, and freshly ground coffee, intertwined with sherry and nuts, and a whisper of oaky tannins.
Palate
Full-bodied and robust, sherry and oak duel for dominance yet stay harmoniously balanced. Rich dried fruits, cocoa and spice unfold across the palate, with subtle nutty tannins supporting the texture, finishing long, dry and malty with a final note of dark chocolate.
Finish
Intense and long-lasting, dry and malty to the finish, with a beautiful dark chocolate note lingering at the back of the mouth, completing this outstanding 25-year-old Glenfarclas.
