Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and a coppery glow, tinged with ruby-bronze.
Nose
Aromas of sherry-soaked dark fruit—prune, raisin, fig—layered with toffee and cocoa. Sun-warmed orange zest, cinnamon and nutmeg drift through, while polished oak and a hint of leather lend depth. An opulent, festive nose that hints at a lush, sherried dram.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this palate unfurls with dried fig, raisin and prune, braided with burnt sugar and toffee. Rich dark chocolate and espresso rise under sherry, while orange zest and spice—clove and cinnamon—brighten the mid-palate. Subtle oak and walnut add texture, with a long fruitcake finish.
Finish
Opulent, long finish; rich sherry sweetness blankets dried plum and fig, with dark chocolate, cinnamon and clove. A whisper of oak folds in, leaving a velvet, lingering warmth that slowly fades.
