Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, natural amber with coppery mahogany undertones and a warm, luminous glow.
Nose
Sweet aromatics of fudge and Muscovado sugar rise, while fruit compote and glacier Morello cherries add complexity to the sherried aroma.
Palate
Rich, dark and seductive, stewed fruits and all-spice marry with classic aged Oloroso sherry, toasted walnut bread and a final note of chocolate.
Finish
A tremendously complex, extraordinarily long finish that lingers with warm sherried sweetness, evolving from dark stewed fruit and spice into toasted walnut and cocoa, with a renewed kiss of oak and lingering sherry.
