Colour
Deep mahogany with coppery-amber highlights and a warm, wine-red glow.
Nose
Sweet sherry malt with warm sugar forms the core, brightened by underlying ginger and coffee notes. The aroma hints at molasses and almond, a civilized, luxurious richness that promises depth to come.
Palate
Silky, richly sherried on the palate: sweet toffee and warm sugar mingle with stewed plum and raisins, edged by molasses and almond. Subtle ginger spice and coffee depth weave through the texture, delivering a creamy, civilized sweetness. Long, luxurious finish hints of honey, coal smoke, dark chocolate and licorice.
Finish
Long, refined finish carrying coal notes with generous honey and a subtle cloak of dark chocolate and licorice. A trace of molasses lingers as the warmth slowly fades, echoing rich sherry and fruit.
