A Glen Grant single malt bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, this 50-year-old was distilled in 1957 and bottled in 2006 after extended maturation in oak, presented at 40% ABV.

Half a century in oak gently evolves the spirit’s core character, adding layers of soft vanilla, warm spice and refined wood influence to Glen Grant’s signature elegant Speyside profile.

Orchard fruit and light floral notes remain woven through a smooth, exceptionally mature expression that reflects both the distillery’s classic balance and the subtle complexity developed over long ageing. Releases of this age are rare and prized for their depth, harmony and timeless refinement.

Glen Grant
(Glen-GRANT) Glen Grant was founded in Rothes in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant, and from the start it built a reputation around innovation as much as whisky. The Grants were involved in the development of the Morayshire Railway Company, helping improve transport through Speyside, and by 1861 Glen Grant had introduced electric lighting. A defining new chapter began in 1872, when James “The Major” Grant took over and expanded the distillery, introducing tall, slender stills and water-cooling purifiers that remain central to the distillery’s lighter, more elegant style.
