Tasting Notes
Colour
Burnished gold with a deep amber heart and a subtle coppery edge, radiant and inviting.
Nose
A refined, age-softened bouquet of polished oak and wax, with honeyed vanilla and light citrus zest. Dried orchard fruits mingle with almond and toffee, while a gentle spice and a whisper of smoke drift through, hinting at decades of quiet maturity.
Palate
Silky and generous, this 50-year Glen Grant delivers a refined mouthfeel with sherried richness. Notes of ripe citrus, dried apricot and fig mingle with burnt sugar, cocoa and toasted almond. Spices thread through softly—cinnamon and nutmeg—leading to a long, polished finish of orange zest, subtle oak and a whisper of leather.
Finish
Silky and remarkably long, the finish unfurls in gentle waves of sherry-kissed oak. Dried fruit, fig and date drift with toffee, roasted almond and a hint of spice, tapering to a refined nutty sweetness and a bright citrus-tinged fade that lingers with elegance.
