An independent bottling of Glen Grant single malt from Ian Macleod under the "Chieftain's" brand. This 20 year old single cask release was finished in a Rum cask, imparting sweet tropical notes of pineapple and banana.
Distilled May 1997 & bottled April 2018.

Colour
Deep golden amber with warm coppery hues and sunlit honey undertones.
Nose
Aromas of tropical fruit, ripe pineapple and banana, rise with creamy vanilla, honeyed oak and a touch of toffee. The rum cask finish threads in coconut and brown sugar, lending soft sun-kissed sweetness and a gentle spice.
Palate
Silky and refined on the palate, tropical notes shine through, pineapple and banana with a kiss of coconut from the rum finish. The sweetness is balanced by light oak and vanilla, delivering a creamy texture and a warm, lingering finish with hints of caramel and spice.
Finish
Long and tropical, the finish drifts with pineapple and banana, seasoned by a warm rum-cask kiss. Subtle oak and vanilla glow fades into a creamy, sun-kissed sweetness, with a gentle spice that lingers into a soft, warming finale.
