Garrison Brothers Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey 3 Year Old
Out of stock
A highly regarded new arrival onto the Bourbon scene (just check out those scores in Jim Murray's whisky bible) from Hye, Texas.
Aged in small 15 gallon barrels (normally 53 gallon in Kentucky) and with the heat of Texas this all adds to the speeding up of the maturation process and at just 3 years old this packs a lot of punch beyond its youth.
Made from White corn, winter wheat and barley.
Plenty going on here and manages to pack in more flavours (and more unusual ones at that) than most bourbon twice the age, well worth spending the extra $ on to try something quite unique from a state not known for its Bourbon.
91.5 points Jim Murray's Whisky Bible.
