Sherry Monsters, as the name implies, are whiskies that have been either single cask matured or finished in Sherry casks. This choice cask type naturally adds heaps of character and dimension to a Whisky, explaining why the Sherry cask is such a seductive option for vatting.

Complete with a tasting notes booklet for each dram.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Rich amber with copper-gold reflections and a hint of mahogany.

Nose

Opulent sherry-driven aroma, rich with ripe dried fruits—raisin, fig, and plum—layered with candied orange zest and caramel toffee. Nutty notes of almond paste and toasted hazelnuts mingle with cocoa and dark chocolate. Cinnamon and clove spice drift through a warm, oaken backbone, finished with velvet sweetness that hints at sherry cask maturations.

Palate

Velvety, full-bodied and richly sherried, the palate unveils dark toffee and raisin sweetness tempered by orange zest, cocoa and espresso. Cinnamon, nutmeg and clove mingle with toasted oak, delivering a warming, lingering finish of silky sweetness and refined spice.

Finish

An exceptionally long, velvety finish, saturated with sherry sweetness and depth. Dried fruit notes of raisin and fig unfold into cocoa, toasted almond and gentle spice, with subtle oak caramelization lingering. Warmth carries through the palate, leaving a refined, indulgent afterglow that beckons another sip.
