Tasting Notes

Colour

A luminous spectrum from pale straw to deep amber, each dram catching warm honeyed copper glints.

Nose

An inviting bouquet of sweet barley, honeyed fruit and creamy vanilla, lifted by gentle oak. Subtle citrus zest and dried fruit provide brightness, while a whisper of coastal brine and toasted spice hints at Scotland’s regional diversity. Warm, elegant and multi-layered, it promises a journey through five representative drams.

Palate

Across the palate, a regional tour unfolds: bright fruit and honeyed malt with creamy vanilla; maritime brine and a touch of peat; sherry-influenced sweetness with dark dried fruit; and a refined oak-spice frame that carries a long, elegant finish.

Finish

An enduring finish that unfolds in waves of regional character: peat smoke and sea breeze soften into orchard fruit, vanilla and toasted oak, then a kiss of spice, leaving a delicate cocoa fade as warmth lingers.
