Tasting Notes

Colour

Rich copper-amber with sunlit gold notes and a whisper of mahogany.

Nose

Coastal peat smoke arcs over rich malt and vanilla, with iodine and sea-salt lift. Notes of citrus zest and honey glimmer through, while a whisper of ash and mineral dust grounds the aroma, signaling Inchmoan’s poised, peaty character.

Palate

Peat-forward and malty, with creamy vanilla and toffee softening the smoke. Subtle sherry notes weave through dark fruit and orange zest, adding depth. Warming spice and a touch of salt emerge mid-palate, guiding a long, ashy finish with lingering peat.

Finish

Long, peaty finish, weaving coastal salt and ash with a ribbon of vanilla and toffee. The peat lingers, tempered by creamy oak and a gentle peppery warmth, leaving the palate craving another slow sip.
