A limited 2022 release from Courvoisier, finished in rare Japanese Mizunara oak and bottled at 48% ABV. An unusual fusion of Cognac tradition and Japanese cask influence.

Smooth and aromatic, with notes of sandalwood, vanilla, spice, dried fruit and soft oak, leading to a long, refined finish. Defined by its distinctive Mizunara character and contemporary, experimental style.

Courvoisier was founded in Jarnac in 1828 by Félix Courvoisier and Jules Gallois, and it remains one of the best-known names in Cognac. Its history is closely tied to Napoleon: the house says Napoleon Bonaparte visited the Courvoisier cellars in 1811, and in 1869 Courvoisier was named official supplier to Napoleon III’s Imperial Court, a distinction that helped establish its reputation well beyond France.
