Courvoisier XO is a wonderfully matured euax de vie, aged from 11 to 25 years in French oak, to highlight the complexity and richness of cognac aromas.

The resulting liquid is aromatic, rich and flavourful with notes of creme brulee, candied orange and iris flower at the forefront in both taste and aroma.

Courvoisier was founded in Jarnac in 1828 by Félix Courvoisier and Jules Gallois, and it remains one of the best-known names in Cognac. Its history is closely tied to Napoleon: the house says Napoleon Bonaparte visited the Courvoisier cellars in 1811, and in 1869 Courvoisier was named official supplier to Napoleon III’s Imperial Court, a distinction that helped establish its reputation well beyond France.
