Their version is made with high quality lime and agave, and finished with a touch of cane sugar. The overall effect is a balanced, delicious mix that is perfect for a classic or frozen Margarita, with bright, zippy notes of lime and a sweetness that resists being cloying or overpowering.

Casa Dragones was founded in 2009 by Bertha González Nieves, the first female Maestra Tequilera certified by the Academia Mexicana de Catadores de Tequila, and Robert W. Pittman, co-founder of MTV and Chairman & CEO of iHeartMedia. The name refers to Los Dragones de San Miguel de Allende, the cavalry linked to Mexico’s Independence Movement in 1810, with the brand’s home, La Casa Dragones, based in a 17th-century building in San Miguel de Allende once used as the Dragones’ stables.
