Tasting Notes

Colour

Rich, warm amber with honey-gold highlights and a subtle copper glow.

Nose

A warm, indulgent nose of butterscotch sweeties, cool mint chocolate and a lift of five-spice powder, weaving sweet richness with subtle spice.

Palate

Runny caramel and honey sweep the palate, with dried apricot adding ripe fruit and a warming kiss of cinnamon that lingers, giving a lightly spiced, sweetly refined finish.

Finish

Sugared almonds linger on the palate, giving way to vanilla ice-cream. Creamy, comforting and softly sweet, the finish carries a delicate nutty echo that trails with subtle warmth.

Cameronbridge
(CAM-er-on-bridge) Cameronbridge was founded in Fife in 1824 by John Haig and is widely regarded as the oldest surviving grain distillery in Scotland. Its place in whisky history is especially important because the Haig family embraced early continuous distillation there, helping establish the large-scale grain whisky production that would become central to modern Scotch blending. Cameronbridge later became one of the founding distilleries behind Distillers Company Limited in 1877, and today it sits within Diageo.
