Timorous Beastie
Timorous Beastie is a Highland blended malt created by Douglas Laing, the Glasgow independent blender and bottler founded in 1948 and still run by the Laing family. It was launched in 2014 as the Highland whisky in Douglas Laing’s Remarkable Regional Malts collection. The name comes from Robert Burns’ poem To a Mouse, where the “timorous beastie” is a small field mouse.
