Belvedere was launched in 1993 and is produced at Polmos Żyrardów in Żyrardów, Poland, a distillery with vodka-making history dating back to 1910. The name refers to Belweder Palace in Warsaw, the Polish presidential residence shown on the bottle, linking the brand closely to Polish heritage and vodka tradition. LVMH first invested in the brand in 2002 and took full ownership in 2005.
