This benchmark small batch Bourbon has impressed us for years. You will be treated to classic Bourbon flavours of corn, vanilla and wood spice, but with so much more besides. Rich orchard fruits, chocolate, and caramel feature alongside herbaceous and spicy notes from the rye. Sweet, rich and oily, but with a dry, complex finish. Bottled at a satisfying, and very specific 50.05% ABV.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, warm amber with vivid copper undertones and honey-gold highlights, a bronze-glass glow.
Nose
Maple syrup and menthol open the nose, entwined with charred vanilla oak and liquorice. Dark chocolate adds depth, while orange oil and ginger provide zesty lift, all resting on a bed of caramel wafers for a sweet, toasty warmth.
Palate
Minty dark chocolate, dark honeycomb and maple on toasted waffles, with dark vanilla and oak. Subtle hickory smoke weaves through caramel popcorn and banana toffee for a rich, lingering palate.
Finish
Gingercake and mint chocolate give way to charred vanilla pods, spicy aromatic oak, and honeycomb. Peppery notes mingle with anise and cherry lozenges, finishing drier and spicier, with bold dark oak and rye spice lingering from the mashbill.
