A 2012-vintage rum from Maison JM that is produced in limited quantities and matured in ex-bourbon casks for 10 years. It is rich and complex, with aromas of dark chocolate, stewed tropical fruit and vanilla on the nose, with dark roast coffee, dried fig and almond on the palate.

Rhum J.M is a historic Martinique rhum agricole producer based at Fonds-Préville in Macouba, at the foot of Mount Pelée. Established in 1845, the distillery makes AOC Martinique rhum agricole from fresh estate-grown sugar cane juice rather than molasses, with cane fields located close to the distillery so the crop can be pressed quickly after harvest.
