Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm, smoky glow.
Nose
Smoky peat and iodine rise from the glass, brine and coal ash weaving through a maritime bouquet. Subtle sweetness - vanilla, honey, citrus peel - lingers, while a saline, wax-sealed edge hints at coastal depth across the 25-day voyage.
Palate
Smoke-forward and warming, the palate threads peat with coastal brine, tar and ash, lifted by hints of vanilla and citrus. Across the set, resinous Islay character sits alongside sweeter spice and pepper, finishing long, dry and unabashedly smoky.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with coastal peat, iodine and sea-salt, fading to a warm, drying echo of resinous oak and a whisper of vanilla.
